Meet Dr. Karmin Nissan
Founder of Murrieta Valley Pain Specialists
Dr. Karmin Nissan grew up in the Midwest, attending both undergraduate and medical school in Chicago, Illinois. He completed residency training in Anesthesiology and then subsequently did his fellowship training in Pain Medicine at the University of Illinois Chicago. He has received dual board certification in the fields of Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine, has presented at national meetings and has also engaged in mission trips in India and Vietnam.
Dr. Nissan believes in a tailored pain management approach, with the emphasis of listening to patients’ needs while providing compassionate care to each and every individual. He specializes in a multitude of interventional treatments and minimally invasive procedures to alleviate pain symptoms and promote functional improvement. He works closely with a variety of interdisciplinary practices, including physical therapy, chiropractic care, alternative medicine treatments, and surgical specialists including spine surgery and orthopedic surgery.
Dr. Nissan has a particular interest in neuromodulation and the role of spinal cord stimulation therapy in addressing chronic pain symptoms. He has hospital privileges at Rancho Springs Medical Center, Inland Valley Medical Center, Temecula Valley Hospital and Loma Linda University Murrieta Campus. He lives locally in Murrieta and loves to serve his community at large. When not at work Dr. Nissan enjoys spending his time with his wife and three boys.
